It has been discovered that asymptomatic and early-stage COVID-19 cases (in days 1-3) can be highly contagious through viral shedding. Recent studies have shown that even brief encounters with early-stage patients can result in infections through viral particles shed in a breath. Viral particles can remain suspended in the air for up to three hours (or longer). This characteristic of the disease should define how well any solution can mitigate the transmission of SARS-2-CoV.

Room air is actively ingested into the Air Guardian with single or dual intake devices; using custom-designed fan blades for powerful, quiet performance. Depending on room design, complete room air changes are processed in minutes.
Once air is ingested, it first passes through a ceramic mesh of titanium dioxide, embedded with TiO2 nanoparticles. Irradiated with intense UVA 365 energy, a cloud of highly reactive electrons and subsequent reactive oxygen species is formed. The UVA irradiance is also destructive, so multiple modes of disinfection and filtration begin immediately.
After air passes through the TiO2 mesh and is irradiated with UVA energy, it enters a pathway of corridors that are coated with Titanium nanoparticles. Ingested air travels for twenty feet along these “photocatalytic reactors”, which are energized by powerful UVC irradiation at 265 nm.
